I didn't know you did that!

Most of you are aware of the enormous range of intercultural training programmes offered by Farnham Castle, but we thought you might be interested to hear of other recent developments and activities.
Back in early 2001, we announced major changes in the business strategy at Farnham Castle with the launch of our Conference and Events business in support of our long-established training services. Part of that plan was the undertaking of a major refurbishment of the facilities which would benefit all our delegates, enabling us to offer high quality of training and accommodation, whilst retaining the history and ambience associated with our magnificent 12th century building.
The first major phase is now complete, with most bedrooms now offering a high standard of en-suite accommodation with TV and radio, direct dial phones and internet connection. All major training rooms have been upgraded with new furniture, presentation equipment and direct access to the internet.
Not just Training
As a result of this work, the number of new, as well as existing, clients who now use us for activities in addition to intercultural training has grown beyond all our expectations. And it is not only local organisations and companies who have made the Castle their number one choice for meetings and events. The range of activities has been enormous: team-building events, sales conferences, exhibitions, board meetings, media training, assessment and selection, away-days - to list just a few. This is also matched by the diversity of clients which have included multi-national companies, the Police, the National Health Service, the Met Office as well as numerous local companies. A number of our clients have been including intercultural training as part of management development programmes being run at Farnham.
Celebrations
The Castle has also been a place of fun. In December the Great Hall resounds to the sound of merriment and laughter as many companies enjoy the stylish surroundings and excellent food and wine to celebrate Christmas.
The Castle has also been a star in its own right, with many appearances on TV and in feature films: Simon Schama's History of Britain, Foley's War, Location, Location, Location - and even a role in a spoof version of Harry Potter!
