Increasing numbers of managers in international companies find themselves working as part of a home based or remote team, whose members represent a broad diversity of cultures. Team members need to overcome cultural barriers in order to successfully achieve common goals. These intensive and in-depth experiential workshops, composed of highly interactive sessions complemented by exercises and brain storming sessions, give participants a chance to deepen their understanding, test new tools and design their own customised approach for working successfully together.
This workshop will:
develop awareness of cultural diversity
investigate cultural differences and the logic behind them
identify these differences to avoid value clashes and build common ground
generate familiarity of culture diversity within a team environment
provide the understanding and the skills to react to different management styles and corporate cultures
explain the tools required to communicate effectively face-to-face and remotely with other team members
reinforce the need to project the right image
assist in the development of personal strategies to build an effective working relationship with other team members
The Result
Participants will have acquired a better understanding of the cultures of other team members and the skills and tools required to create practical strategies and develop creative and effective solutions to working successfully as a productive multicultural team.
Format
Normally offered in a 2 day format, this programme can be re-structured into a 1 day or developed into an in-depth 3 day version
