Video Training

In order to provide high quality training and assignment briefing solutions to those unable to attend programmes at Farnham Castle or where it is not cost-effective to deliver programmes in a specified location, Farnham Castle has installed a video training facility which allows us to provide a wide range of training workshops and briefing programmes via a video link. It is also invaluable for post-programme follow up sessions.

Using state of the art, broadcast quality connections, (gone are the time-delayed, jerky lip-synch video systems of the past), the system enables individual and group training to be delivered in real time without losing the essential interactivity created in face to face delivery. It also enables easy integration of PowerPoint, video and whiteboard discussion.

The system is compatible with most major video conferencing systems and will connect using existing corporate in-company video conferencing facilities or through our network of thousands of ‘training rooms’ around the world at a time to suit you and at an affordable cost.

The set up allows us to deliver high quality training with our usual flexible approach. We are able to arrange video training and briefing sessions, involving teams or individuals and their families. The system even provides for simultaneous, multi-site connection, allowing individuals or teams spread across the globe to participate in the same workshop or programme.

A key issue of any training is the question of how much each participant retains in the short term and how the information and skills acquired are developed – put simply, what has been the return on the training investment.

The foundation of development of any new skill is continued practice.

Farnham Castle is now able to offer a state of the art system that will bridge the gap between the classroom experience and the workplace increasing the return on investment from any learning and development programme. Delivered to the individual’s PC or laptop it does not require new software or additional IT resources.

Using an intuitive programme which is simple and fast to use, it provides a complete follow through management system reminding participants of their post-programme objectives, prompts them to take action, tracks individual and group progress, involves both trainer and coach and documents the results. This enables organisations to demonstrate the impact and value of training programmes.

Training Wherever You Are
The limitations of geography, time and availability are no longer a barrier to delivering vital training and coaching. Using Internet and telephone communication, we are able to offer training to individuals and groups located anywhere in the world. The only requirement is access to a PC or laptop (with or without webcam) and telephone.

This method of delivery is particularly suited to modular training, where it is possible for participants to be available only for short time periods, and for invaluable follow up coaching and mentoring following on from a workshop or briefing.

The latest sophisticated technology allows the trainer/facilitator to work with up to 20 individuals as a complete group, to sub group individuals into teams, whatever the geographic location of individuals, and to work discretely with participants on a one to one or group basis during the core programme.

Programmes can be enhanced through the use of video, PowerPoint, whiteboards and discussion rooms.
